secret-ingredient smoothie bowl

it's sunny today, which automatically means it's OK to have a smoothie bowl in the middle of winter.

for once though, I wasn't feeling kale in my smoothies. or anything green really (shocking, I know). to be perfectly honest, I was dreaming up this smoothie bowl right before I went to bed yesterday...

so here it is. gorgeous, simple, and banana-less if you want it to be. the beets give it a beautiful pink color, and you can't even really taste then.
